I have examined the accompanying Ordinance intituled
an
Ordinance to amend the Deportation Ordinance, 1917,
and I al of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to the
Governor's Instructions,
2.
Section 2 of the ordinance is a combination of section 3(2)
of the principal Ordinance and the provisions of Article 12 (6) (e)
of the Aliens Order, 1930, which reads as follows: -
"A deportation order may be made in any of the following
Cases; -
(c) if the Secretary of State deems it to be
conducive to the public good to make a
deportation order against the alien."
